Congratulations to the 2019 True South semi-finalists! Knoxville men’s and women’s clubs look forward to welcoming you next weekend. We want to make sure you have the information you need for your visit to East Tennessee.
All match details including schedule, facility map, sideline, athletic training, lightning and extreme weather policy, as well as the park’s emergency action plan are detailed in the attached PROGRAM

Lodging

Facility
Knoxville is excited to host the union at the Tennessee Rugby Park, a multi-field facility created and maintained for the sole purpose of rugby. Full service restroom facilities and changing areas will be available. Participating teams should bring coolers and bottles to transport facility water.

Admission is free to the public, $10/pet.
In lieu of admission, the Entrance Tent will be collecting new or softly worn shoes (Y8-Y12) and non-perishable foods for schoolchildren in need. Pets are encouraged to stay home but can be brought in for $10/day.

Team Welcome Package
Each team will receive a welcome package from the Knoxville clubs and sponsors. A representative from each team can retrieve theirs from the Entrance Tent.

Food & Water
Facility has running water. Participating teams should bring coolers and bottles to transport. Food truck(s) are scheduled to be at the park each day.
Tents & Warm-up Area
Teams can set up along the fence-line to the left of the entrance or the lower-area between fields 1 and 2. The upper field closest to parking can be used as a warm-up area for teams to share preceding their match. Refer to the map in the attached program.

Athletic Training
During competition, the athletic training staff will be on site for any injuries and/or emergency care.
 
Photography / Video Personnel
Host clubs will provide video streaming of matches on the main field. Team photographers can roam the venue but must stay out of both teams’ technical/bench areas.

Event Shirts

The 2019 tournament shirts will be available at the admin area next to the restrooms. There’s a limited quantity. If you pre-ordered a shirt, provide your name and ID in the same area to retrieve yours.
