The 2025 Gulf Coast Super Regional is scheduled for May 3-4 at Pelican Park in Mandeville, LA. Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines or tuning in from afar, catch all the action as we stream all matches on the True South YouTube channel.

We’re anticipating intermittent rain throughout the week, and the host venue is confident that their fields will drain well, as this is normal Spring weather for the New Orleans area. However, in case of any muddy conditions around the field, we advise teams to pack rain boots, rain gear, and extra changes of clothing. With the current forecast, we’re keeping a close eye on the weather, as there is a chance of thunderstorms throughout the weekend. Safety is our top priority, and we’ll strictly adhere to the guidelines outlined in the USA Rugby Risk & Safety policy.

In the event that safety decisions are needed, Match Commissioner Dave McPhail and Host Kaleb Nelson will provide guidance. If there’s a pause in play due to lightning, we’ll wait at least 30 minutes after the last lightning flash or sound of thunder before resuming activities. Let’s ensure safety remains our main focus throughout the weekend!

We are live streaming all matches and they will be available for viewing on the True South YouTube channel. We’ll strive to provide score updates and other details in the YouTube chat to keep viewers informed.

Entry is free for all spectators. Signs will point you to the correct fields and parking areas. Please follow all signs and posted instructions. Well-behaved dogs are welcome as long as they remain leashed at all times.

The on-site concession stand has restrooms that players and spectators are welcome to use. General concessions selling snacks, water, and Gatorade will be provided by the park alongside two food trucks. Alcoholic beverages are explicitly prohibited at the event and surrounding park areas.

Please be aware that factors such as weather, event logistics, travel, or player well-being may further affect our partner’s ability to broadcast. The True South maintains the right to adjust match times and divisions as needed to facilitate streaming. We deeply value the understanding and flexibility of teams and spectators regarding match times and locations, essential for ensuring a successful championship weekend.

Schedule & Results

Check-ins will take place at the check-in tent on Saturday morning. All rostered players, coaches, and administrators must be present at check-in. The check-in representative will verify each team’s eligibility and Championship Paperwork (detailed above). Please have each player ready with a valid form of photo identification (driver’s license, passport, Student ID, etc.).NOTE: Your team must be fully checked in at least 1 hour prior to your kick off. Teams may check-in earlier if desired, however not to interfere with another matches check-in section.

The warm-up field will be split into two halves. Each team will be permitted to use their designated half of the warm-up area up to 30 minutes prior to their check-in (1.5 hours prior to kickoff). Playing fields will be open for final warm ups as soon as the prior match concludes. Please be considerate of others, as space is limited. While there are additional open areas, we advise against warm-ups in these zones due to potential injury risks or conflicts with other activities. Pelican Park is a multi-use complex and there are several other groups and activities using the area.
