True South Championship Bids:
The 2026 MD3 event requires one active playing field and a second for warmup. The 2026 WD2/WD3/MD2 event requires two active playing fields and a third for warm up. Concessions and vendor sales are available to the host to arrange as they see fit. No personal or team entry charges can be made except for 7′s where an entry team fee may be charged by the host. Since 2024, there is a requirement for streaming services to be provided at the union’s expense.

Feel free to pass along this opportunity to any interested parties. While we encourage local sports authorities to participate, there must be some affiliation with a regional team to support the event.
Gulf Coast Super Regional Bids:
The 2026 Gulf Coast Super Regional will be hosted by the Austin Huns of the Texas Rugby Union. Come back in 2027 when the True South will again be able to bid on the event.
National Championship Bid Requests:
The Senior Club Council issued a Request for Proposal for venues for the 2026, 2027, & 2028 National Championships (15’s and 7’s). The deadline has passed. For reference, the RFP can be located through the link below. It is strongly encouraged that any clubs looking to create a proposal work with a local tourism bureau or sports commission.
