Mission: Let the kids play!
The True South Geographic Union (GU) was formed in August of 2012? It consists of the member clubs from the former Deep South and MidSouth Local Area Unions (LAU). The name ‘True South’ was chosen to represent the joining together of these two Southern organizations and our geographic position at the ‘true’ Southern point of the United States.
Our membership consists of senior level clubs. However, we also accept youth, HS, and college clubs who either do not have not yet joined a State Rugby Organization (SRO) or College Conference. We welcome them during their period of growth and transition.
As deemed by Nancy Campbell, as no one else has yet bothered to think about the topic, the colors are royal blue, black, and silver, the logo consists of a riverboat, and the mascot is the mosquito.
